This study will have two Phases: Phase 1a and Phase 1b. The goals of this clinical study are to learn more about the study drug KITE-363, by evaluating its safety, tolerability and efficacy in participants with relapsed/refractory autoimmune neurologic diseases. The primary objectives of this study are: * To evaluate the safety and tolerability of KITE-363 in participants with autoimmune neurologic diseases * To determine the recommended dose for Phase 1b. * To evaluate the preliminary efficacy of KITE-363 in participants with autoimmune neurologic diseases.

Hemodynamic Effects of a Standardized Grape Seed Extract Supplementation

Antegrade Intestinal Fluid Reinfusion for Prevention of Low Anterior Resection Syndrome After Low Anterior Resection: a Single-Center, Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial.

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if antegrade intestinal fluid reinfusion works to prevent low anterior resection syndrome (LARS) in patients with prophylactic ileal stoma. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does it work to prevent LARS by antegrade intestinal fluid reinfusion before performing the ileostomy reversal surgery? 2. Is antegrade intestinal fluid reinfusion more effective than water infusion in preventing LARS. Participants will: 1. Receive either antegrade intestinal fluid reinfusion or antegrade water infusion through ileal stoma based on the standard of care at 1 month after anterior rectal resection, until the ileostomy reversal. 2. Keep a diary of their symptoms.

Community Connections Through Native Hawaiian Cultural Values to Strengthen Youth Resilience, Health, and Well-Being

The goal of this pilot clinical trial is to learn if a community referral program can improve services for youth with mental health and chronic health conditions in a predominantly Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community. The main questions the trial aims to address are: * What is the best way for a community health center to connect youth with community programs rooted in cultural practices and traditions? * Does participation in community programs engage youth and mental health and chronic health outcomes? Participants will: * Participate in a community program for youth that will strengthen connection to 'āina (land) and culture. Programs in the summer are 5 hours per day, 4 days a week, for 4 weeks. Programs in the school-year are 2.5 hours per day, 2 days a week, for 16 weeks. * Take surveys on their demographics, general well-being, mental health, and chronic health conditions they may have at 4 different times: Before the program begins, immediately after the program finishes, 3-4 months after finishing, and 6-8 months after finishing. * Have an adult family member complete surveys on their youth's demographics and general well-being at the same 4 times

Assessing the Effects of Corn and Avocado Oils on the Cardiometabolic Risk Factor Profile

The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the effects of corn and avocado oils as part of controlled feeding diets on the cardiometabolic risk factor profile in men and women with mild-to-moderately elevated levels of non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C). Participants will be asked to consume the controlled feeding diet for two separate 21 day conditions, and will consume their regular diet for a 21 day washout period between the two conditions. Additionally, participants will be asked to come into the clinic on 7 different occasions, including one screening visit (visit 1, -7 days), one baseline visit (visit 2, day 0), two visits during each 21-d diet condition (visits 3 \& 6, day 19 and visits 4 \& 7, day 21), and a visit at the conclusion of the washout phase/start of the second diet condition (visit 5, day 0).

Non-Invasive ICP Monitoring Study

Intracranial Pressure

Measuring the pressure inside the skull, which is called intracranial pressure, is important to treat severe neurological illness. Currently, measuring intracranial pressure requires doctors to place an invasive pressure monitor. Recently, a non-invasive intracranial pressure monitor has been developed. This monitor has a tiny pin that is placed on the head which measures the tiny movements of the skull every time the heart beats. This produces a waveform that looks very similar to an invasive intracranial pressure waveform. However, we don't know enough about how the non-invasive device to make it clinically useful yet.

The Spotlight Study: Early Identification of Post-Surgical Infections Using Bedside Ultrasound.

Surgical Site Infection (SSI) Emergency Laparotomies Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS)

Introduction: The goal of this observational study is to learn whether point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) can help detect early fluid build-up under the skin after open abdominal surgery (laparotomy) and whether these findings can predict surgical site infection. The study includes adults who recently had emergency or planned open abdominal surgery. Hypothesis: The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does ultrasound identify subcutaneous fluid collections early after surgery? 2. Do these fluid collections help predict which participants will develop a surgical site infection? Intervention: Participants will: 1. Have a superficial wound swab taken once at the start of the study (for research only). 2. Receive three ultrasound scans of their surgical wound during days 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9 after surgery. 3. Have their wound checked for redness, swelling, tenderness, or discharge before each scan. 4. Be followed for 7 and 30 days after surgery (and up to 90 days if they have implanted mesh) to see whether an infection develops. Ultrasound is non-invasive and safe. According to the protocol, "no serious adverse effects are expected," though some participants may feel brief discomfort from pressure on a tender wound. This study will help researchers understand whether routine bedside ultrasound can support earlier detection of wound infections and improve postoperative care in the future.

Evaluation of RBS2418 in Combination With Tremelimumab Plus Durvalumab in Participants With Advanced Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Advanced Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma

RBS2418 is a targeted immune modulator that inhibits ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP1). It is designed to promote anti-tumor immunity by preserving endogenous 2'-3' cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate (cGAMP) from hydrolysis, thereby activating antigen-presenting cells and promoting robust T cell activation. Ideally, RBS2418 acts synergistically with CTLA-4 inhibitors, such as those in the STRIDE regimen (Tremelimumab plus Durvalumab). The hypothesis is that RBS2418 combined with STRIDE will be safe, well-tolerated, highly immunogenic, and enhance anti-tumor responses in adult participants with advanced, unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) compared to STRIDE alone.

The purpose of this study is to examine how listening to music compares to guided mindfulness in affecting blood pressure, heart rate, and feelings of anxiety in healthy adults. The investigators aim to determine whether one of these approaches is more effective in reducing these variables. Additionally, the study will explore whether personal traits or preferences, measured using questionnaires, influence how participants respond to music or mindfulness. Based on previous clinical findings, the researchers hypothesize that listening to music will lead to greater reductions in blood pressure and heart rate compared to guided mindfulness.

Researchers are looking for new ways to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). A standard (usual) treatment for certain people with RCC is belzutifan (a study medicine), which is a targeted therapy. Targeted therapy is a treatment that works to control how specific types of cancer cells grow and spread. Researchers want to learn if adding another targeted therapy called zanzalintinib (another study medicine) can treat more people with advanced RCC than belzutifan alone. The goal of this study is to learn if people who receive belzutifan and zanzalintinib live longer overall and without the cancer getting worse compared to people who receive belzutifan and placebo.

Neuromodulation to Enhance Motor Function in HSP

Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia

Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a rare neurological condition that causes stiffness, weakness, and difficulty walking due to damage in the nerves that control movement. This study will test whether a noninvasive form of spinal cord stimulation, called transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS), can improve walking and reduce muscle stiffness in adults with HSP. In this study, participants will receive tSCS twice a week for 8 weeks. The stimulation is delivered through self-adhesive electrodes placed on the skin over the lower back and does not require surgery. Each session will last about one hour. After the treatment period, participants will be followed for an additional 8 weeks without stimulation to see whether any improvements are maintained. Researchers will measure walking speed, walking endurance, muscle stiffness, and overall disease severity. Additional tests will explore changes in bladder and bowel function and muscle strength.

Pneumococcal Carriage, Serotypes, and Antibiotic Resistance in Malaysian Children: A Multi-Centre Study

Nasopharyngeal Carriage of Streptococcus Pneumoniae

The goal of this observational study is to determine the prevalence, serotype distribution, and antimicrobial resistance patterns of nasopharyngeal carriage of Streptococcus pneumoniae in Malaysian children aged ≤5 years following the implementation of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCVs). The study focuses on healthy and mildly symptomatic male and female children aged 0-60 months recruited from urban and semi-urban settings in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. What is the overall and age-specific prevalence of nasopharyngeal pneumococcal carriage among children aged ≤5 years in Malaysia? 2. What are the circulating serotypes and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) profiles of pneumococcal isolates, and how are they associated with vaccination status and PCV valency coverage? Researchers will compare carriage prevalence, serotype distribution (vaccine-type vs non-vaccine-type), and antimicrobial resistance patterns across different states, vaccination statuses, and socioeconomic backgrounds to determine differences in transmission dynamics and potential serotype replacement patterns. Participants will: 1. Undergo a nasopharyngeal swab collection for pneumococcal detection. 2. Provide demographic and vaccination history information through a standardised case report form completed with parental/guardian consent. 3. Have their samples analysed using bacterial culture, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and whole-genome sequencing (WGS) for serotyping and resistance profiling.

The goal of this study is to examine the effect of reverse case studies based on the heutagogical approach on the level of readiness for the profession among final-year nursing students. The hypotheses are: H0-1: There is no difference in the level of professional readiness between the control group and the intervention group that underwent reverse case studies based on the heutagogy approach. H0-2: There is no difference in career adaptability between the control group and the intervention group that underwent reverse case studies based on the heutagogy approach. H0-3: There is no difference in professional socialization between the control group and the intervention group that underwent reverse case studies based on the heutagogy approach. Secondary Hypothesis: H0-4: There is no difference in psychological capital levels between the control group and the intervention group that underwent reverse case studies based on the heutagogy approach. Researchers will compare the heutagogy-based reverse case studies program group with the waiting-list control group to evaluate its effects on professional readiness, career adaptability, professional socialization, and psychological capital. Participants will: * complete baseline assessments * be randomly assigned to either the intervention group or the waiting-list control group * receive reverse case studies program based on the heutagogy approach (intervention group) * complete post-intervention assessments after the educational program
