Feasibility of High Intensity Interval Training in Survivors of Childhood, Adolescent, and Young Adult Hodgkin Lymphoma

This pilot study evaluates the feasibility of a 12-week high intensity interval training (HIIT) program in survivors of childhood, adolescent, and young adult Hodgkin lymphoma within 24 months of completing treatment. Preliminary efficacy of the HIIT intervention for improved cardiorespiratory fitness, body composition, physical function, autonomic response to exercise, peripheral neuropathy, biological aging markers, and physical activity will also be evaluated. Primary Objective: To determine the feasibility of a 12-week high intensity interval training (HIIT) program in survivors of childhood, adolescent, and young adult Hodgkin lymphoma within 24 months of completing treatment. Feasibility will be assessed by: * Participation Rate: Number of eligible survivors approached who enroll. * Completion Rate: Number of scheduled HIIT sessions attended and number of enrolled participants who complete post-intervention testing.

Virtual Reality-Based Rehabilitation Versus Conventional Therapy in Patients With Chronic Low Back Pain

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation using virtual reality compared with conventional physiotherapy in patients with chronic low back pain. The study will be conducted as a prospective, randomized controlled trial including 80 patients aged 40-65 years diagnosed with chronic low back pain lasting at least three months. Participants will be randomly assigned to two groups: an experimental group receiving conventional rehabilitation supplemented with non-immersive virtual reality training using the Tecnobody Homing Studio system, and a control group receiving conventional rehabilitation alone. Both groups will participate in a four-week rehabilitation program. The virtual reality training will replace a portion of conventional exercises and will focus on improving movement quality, postural control, coordination, and functional mobility through interactive tasks with visual and auditory biofeedback. The system utilizes a 3D camera enabling markerless motion analysis and real-time visual feedback to support movement correction and identification of functional deficits. Outcome measures will include assessments of balance, posture, joint mobility, lower limb strength and endurance, pain intensity, pressure pain threshold, kinesiophobia, perceived stress, anxiety and depression, functional disability, quality of life, and motivation for physical activity. Measurements will be conducted at baseline, immediately after completion of the four-week rehabilitation program, and at an eight-week follow-up. The results of this study are expected to provide clinical evidence regarding the effectiveness of virtual reality-assisted rehabilitation in patients with chronic low back pain and may contribute to the development of evidence-based rehabilitation strategies incorporating digital technologies.

Preoperative Sleep Quality and Postoperative Outcomes in Breast Surgery

Breast Cancer Postoperative Pain Inflammation

Sleep quality is a key physiological factor influencing immune function, inflammatory response, and pain perception. This prospective observational study aims to evaluate whether preoperative sleep quality predicts postoperative inflammation, pain severity, and analgesic consumption in patients undergoing elective breast cancer surgery. Preoperative sleep quality will be assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Systemic inflammatory response will be evaluated using the Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index (SII), calculated from routine hematological parameters. Postoperative pain will be assessed using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and analgesic consumption will be recorded within the first 24 hours. The study aims to determine whether poor sleep quality is associated with increased inflammatory response, higher pain scores, and greater analgesic requirement.

This study aims to compare two commonly used airway devices (I-gel and Air-Q) in children aged 1-10 years undergoing general anesthesia for surgery. These devices help doctors keep the airway open and support breathing during the operation. The study will evaluate how well each device works, how easy they are to place, and whether they cause air to enter the stomach. Ultrasound will be used to safely check the position of the device and detect any air in the stomach. The results of this study may help improve the safety and effectiveness of airway management in children during anesthesia.

A Pilot Study of In-lab Dynamic Standing in Parkinson's Disease

Exercise Timing Postprandial Glucose

This interventional crossover study examines the effect of exercise timing relative to meal intake on postprandial glucose responses in healthy, physically active young adults. Participants complete five experimental conditions involving endurance exercise performed before or after breakfast or dinner, as well as a non-exercise control condition, while wearing a continuous glucose monitoring device. Postprandial glucose responses are assessed for the three consecutive meals following each exercise session. Following morning exercise, outcomes are assessed after breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the same day. Following evening exercise, outcomes are assessed after dinner on the same day and after breakfast and lunch on the subsequent day. All meals are standardized and consumed at fixed clock times.

At Home Wearable Sensors and Smartphone for Stroke Survivors With Upper Limb Motor Challenges.

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if wearable sensor data visualization on smartphones can improve the use of the stroke-affected limb during everyday activities. Chronic stroke survivors (\>12 months from onset) ages 18-80 years old with residual upper extremity motor impairments may be eligible to participate. The main question it aims to answer is: Does the mobile health (mHealth) intervention help to improve the use of the stroke-affected upper-limb during daily living? The study is designed so each participant serves as their own control. Researchers will compare information from the baseline and intervention time periods to see if visualizing the data on the smartphone impacts the participant's daily use of the arm. Participants will be asked to wear a set of wearable ring and wrist sensors and interact with a custom-designed smartphone app, aiming to increase the use of their stroke-affected limb during daily activities as much as possible. They will receive feedback from the app, communicate with study therapists, participate in goal setting, complete clinical assessments, and share about their experience using the system during a virtual interview.
